They (the photos) are absolutely amazing!! We love every single one of them. We love the ones of the men at the church beforehand, the ones of me on the horse, the ones of the family & friends. Just all of them!!’  Simone & Luke

Under the clear blue sunny skies of June 2021 I captured the wedding adventure of Simone and Luke with my signature candid style. Luke and his Groomsmen arrived early donning their tasteful tweed three-piece suites complete with pocket watches.

Not to be outdone Simone’s beautiful ornate dress matched the colour of the white Pony she rode to All Saints C of E Church in Blaby. As a photographer my aim to not only capture key moments but also how it feels. Pre-Ceremony Simone and Luke were both nervous but, as with may weddings I’ve covered, as soon as the Revd declared them ‘Man and Wife’ their relief was palpable. There was a calmness.

Unfortunately, the Pony was unable to board the coach for all the guests to travel the reception. This was held at the Weston Hall Hotel which is a 16th Century Elizabethan Manor House nestled in the Warwickshire Countryside.  The warm, sunny weather allowed the wedding party to enjoy the vast, lush gardens with Weston Hall. Guests mingled, drank, laughed whilst children played. There was even an impromptu rendition of ‘I’m forever blowing bubbles.’

The bubble theme continued at the wedding breakfast where guests were supplied with various bubble generating devices to be deployed during the meal and speeches.

‘’You captured the day exactly how we remember, and exactly how we wanted – natural and unintrusive.”  Simone & Luke
